FGCU Video Game Club

Become An Eagle Gamer!

The Beginning of a New Semester

And with that comes more meetings for Video Game Club! Last year was incredible and to see us rebound from the depths of what VGC was around a year ago is impressive. Thanks to all the members who continuously show support for this student organization. With out you guys, we would have been left in the dark.

With a fresh cabinet, we are going to make a bunch of changes to our club. With that being said, we want your input. Tell us what direction the clubs should be taking. Is there something you would like to see us have? What events would you like to see Video Game Club host? We would love to hear you out. You can leave us a discussion thread with your ideas or you can tel us during our first meeting on January 20th.

Until then, thank you so much for your continued support.

Fall 2011 Meetings

Welcome back everyone!

I know all of you are itching to get back to playing video games. We plan to have meetings on Friday still, but as a compromise to those who ‘have things to do on Friday nights’ we moved the times of the club to a bit earlier. We’ll most likely be meeting Fridays 3pm-9pm.

We’re waiting to hear back from reservations about the room and time, but most likely our first meeting of the year will be September 2nd in AB3 124.

I’ll be bringing a few large pizzas for everyone to enjoy. It anyone wants to bring some extra food and/or drinks, please feel free to do so. We’ll have a short meeting and then get to what we came to do, play games.

See you all soon!
Jennifer Sirois
VGC President

No Summer Meetings

Hey everyone,

I hope we’re enjoying the great summer break! For any of those wondering there will be no meetings during the summer. There will be a VGC table out during the orientation times in June and July, so if you need a gaming fix (or those people who need their SSBB) you can stop by the table and play a few games. Look out for those dates on the Forum.

We will resume meetings in the Fall. If any of you missed the last meeting we discussed changing the days me meet on, in a private vote the majority asked to keep it on Fridays, if you have an opinion please post it in the forum: CLICK ME!

I also wanted to thank you all for voting me in as the new president. I know the competition was stiff and I really fought my way through all my opponents, so a huge thanks to all my supporters. :D

Thanks,
Jennifer Sirois
VGC President
