FGCU Video Game Club

Hello Everyone,

We have a new President! and it is former Secretary Christopher Walsh. Since Chris has been bumped up to president it has created a vacancy in the Secretary position. We will be having Elections for the secretary next meeting. Current nominees are club members Ryan and Terry.  We will be excepting last minute nominations.

Next meeting we will also be choosing Mini Tournaments (the ones we hold in AB3 for fun). Also, After a new officer is selected The Officers will select one lucky club member to be a senior member!

One more heads up: The  meeting on February 12th VGC will be doing constitutional amdements.

The Spring Brawl Tournament will be held in the Student Union Ballroom at 5:00 PM

Hello Everyone,

The Presidential position is offcially up for grabs! The election will be this coming Friday; January 29th, 2010. We will be taking last minute nominations for the position. Currently We only have one nomination (And that is me, Chris current VGC Secretary.) Please note that in the event a cureent officer switchs posittions his former position will be voted upon the direct meeting after.

We will have our first Spring 2010 meeting this Friday January 22nd, 2010.  Note: there may be a possibility that we will no longer have our main meeting room because a class currently resides in it till 6:15pm. We will meet in one of the smaller rooms in AB3 in the same hallway of course, so be on the lookout.

Hello Everyone,

We had a mix up with campus reservations and unfortunately, we do not have the rooms in AB3 today (Jan 15^th 2010) to host VGC. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Campus Reservations hasn’t confirmed if we have the rooms next week either, but they said they would notify us early next week. As soon as campus reservations notify us, we will update you when we are having our first spring 2010 meeting.

The First meeting for the 2010 semester will be this Friday January 15th, 2009  During this meeting we will be taking Nominations for the President Position for VGC for the spring 2010 term.
