FGCU Video Game Club

Hello Everyone,

This Friday (09/03/2010) will be the first meeting for Video Game Club this semester.   As usual we will meet in Academic Building 3, room 124, from 5:00PM to 11:00PM.

P.S. The first meeting we will have a Tatsunoko VS Capcom Mini Tournament. For those of you who are new we will explain how Mini Tournaments work at the main meeting.

VGC’s new hit event Returns for a 3rd semester! Come out and enjoy some of Gaming best classic’s! In the past we have had SEGA Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation,  Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis, and even an Atari 2600. These consoles are most likely to return and who knows maybe something new will show up! So come out and game like it was 1999! Any consoles released after that are BANNED!

Also If you can please bring a dish, this event is also a potluck Party!

This event is in the Student Union Ballroom.

FGCU’s Fall Brawl! (A super Smash Bros: Brawl Tournament) will be hosted in the Student Union Ballroom.

Date: September 18th, 2010

Registration time 2:00PM to 2:45PM

Tournament Start time: 3:00PM

Rules will be posted in the forums at a latter date.

Prizes: TBA

VGC will be having either a Soul Calibur 2 or Street Fighter 4 Mini Tournament on April 2nd in Academic Building 3.

VGC will be holding a F Zero GX Mini Tournament on March 5 in Academic Building 3.

VGC will be having a Tetris Mini Tournament on April 16th in Academic Building 3.

VGC and the Text Book Lizzy Store will be having a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Tournament on March 19 @ the Text Book Lizzy Book Store off US 41.There will be no regular meeting in AB3 on this Friday!

VGC will hod a Wii sports mini Tournament on Febuary 26th In academic building 3.

Retro Night/ Potluck will be held in the student Union ballroom on Sunday April 4th 2010 from 5 to 10 pm.

Retro consoles will be the main attraction… All PS2’s, Xbox’s, Gamecube’s, Wii’s, Xbox 360’s, and PS3’s are BANNED! Although we will make an exception for old skool completion disks, and virtual console titles.

If you can, please bring a dish for this old skool celebration.

The Spring Brawl Tournament will be held in the Student Union Ballroom at 5:00 PM

5:00 to 6:00 PM Tournamnet Signups, Explanation of the rules, and Practice.

6:00 PM Tournament Start!
