Hello Everyone,

This Friday (09/03/2010) will be the first meeting for Video Game Club this semester.   As usual we will meet in Academic Building 3, room 124, from 5:00PM to 11:00PM.

So today is the first official day of classes back at FGCU, lets hope we all survive the semester! =)  Anyways your probably wondering when the first VGC meeting is… Well all I can say right now is to stay tuned to the VGC e-mailer or (if your new) this Site. Unfortunately we can’t hold meeting the first week of school, its policy. Nor can we hold meetings till campus reservations allocates us rooms. Room allocation for clubs starts in the middle of next week so we should have an update as to when the first meeting is by the end of the week.

VGC’s new hit event Returns for a 3rd semester! Come out and enjoy some of Gaming best classic’s! In the past we have had SEGA Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, PlayStation,  Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis, and even an Atari 2600. These consoles are most likely to return and who knows maybe something new will show up! So come out and game like it was 1999! Any consoles released after that are BANNED!

Also If you can please bring a dish, this event is also a potluck Party!

This event is in the Student Union Ballroom.

The office of Campus involvement is requiring we turn in a roster with all current VGC members on it.  Becuase of the importantice of this; at the last club meeting we passed an amedment to the constution requiring members to be on the offical roster to vote in/on club affairs. If you do not get yourself on the roster you can not participate in any VGC voting process to determine: club officers, gaming purchases by the club, or club events. To be on the official VGC roster you must have attended at least three VGC meetings  during the course of a year and you must be a current Student of FGCU.  If you have meet these requirements please send am email to VGC@eagle.fgcu.edu requesting to be added to the roster by may 7th 2010. Please include  your full name and expected graduation date.
