I would rather flame the fact that no threads have been moved to general gaming discussion. A hasty move to make the new sections, but I would have expected within four to five months they could have moved the threads.

That being said...Items are for pros, banning stages is lame. Down Smash harder. When in doubt spam grab. Using a suicide kill on the last life is always in your favor. If you can waggle a C-Stick then you are good enough to play this game.

Or we can be like Redstar and hang out on the ledge like a panzey during FFA's. Your D3 is more hated than Cartman's sucking Kirby. Some people find brawl to be a technical game at times. I don't believe it should be compared to Marvel vs Capcom or Tekken, but there is a fine line from waggling a C-stick and being good at the game.

OMG, hanging on the edge, ohh noes. That is like saying blocking makes you a pansy. I hate to break it to you, but those FFAs were stupid anyways. We had players grouping up and triple teaming, which was a lot stupider than me edge grabbing. The only reason people were mad at my DDD because I was beating people in that gay group, cause unfortunately they only had 1 guy in my FFA. OH noes, we can't have a 3 on 1 in an FFA, no fair/cry. I thought poorly of Brawl before that, but seeing FFAs become who has the most friends in their fights was just pathetic.

You brawl players can't take trash talk well. Also, people need to spam chain throws more. That falcon/wolf player that kept running back and forth throwing that wolf was hilarious, I wish more people would do something like that. I will be at the VGC most days, if people who can play this game better than me want to play me, please do. I would rather play GG or BB, or even some other fighting game, but I have already accepted most people want to play a game where every special is one button and there are no combos.

I'm not going to lie, those FFA's are pretty much a waste of time and I pray they don't show up again but I am willing to take on anyone. I play as a legit Mario who has nothing technical about him. No chain grab, no special little gimmicks just hardcoreness. There is nothing wrong with a game that doesnt suit you. If you dont enjoy it, then go play something else. It's all good.

Brawl isn't a fighting game, so it can't out sell OTHER fighting games. Enjoy your party game, bro.

Go play KOF, Street Fighter, or hell even Mortal Kombat (3 obviously) and get back to us with a logical conversion about fighting games.

Street Fighter is a fighting game. Brawl is about as much of a fighting game as say Mario Kart. I don't blindly hate brawl either. I play Brawl for some fun. But as a competitive game it is terrible. It was designed to not be competitive, which should be obvious by the stages, items, and the fact that Nintendo made it.

Mad props at being good at a party game though, I can do pretty well at Wii tennis myself.
