Game Nominations for 2010

Postby Cartman64 on Tue Jul 06, 2010 10:28 pm

Well its coming close to the beginning of the semester so its time to start thinking about what games you want to see at VGC! Traditionally VGC has had game nominations by members and then the games are decided by a club vote! This year we have in the club budget about a 100 dollars to spend in games on each console. Basically 2 games per console.

Current Nominations for 360:
*Marvel vs Capcom 3 (nominated by Terry)
*Halo Reach (Nominated by Chris)
*Rock-Band 3 (Nominated By Ryan)

PS3:
*Gran Turismo 5 (Nominated by Terry)
*Medal Of Honor 2010 (nominated by Chris)
*Call of Duty: Black Ops (Nominated By Ryan)

Wii:
*Goldeneye 007 (Nominated by Terry)

Incoming members are welcome to Nominate, seeing how this will be your club as well, coming fall :D

Edit: please note that all game nominations must be Multi-Player!

Rock-band 3 sounds cool if we get it for 360... I feel as if the wii version will have to be passed on, If we get the wii one we have to buy all the drums and guitar stuff again where as if we get the 360 version we already have the stuff. And if everyone wants it we can't ask SG for the keyboard thing in our next budget period or though a budget.

Also this is something we might want to hear more news on before we go out and by goleneye for Wii:
GoldenEye producer Julian Widdows give hope that the upcoming GoldenEye is just a TIMED exclusive for the Wii.

I know a lot of people per fer analog controls when it comes to shooters.

I second the Halo: Reach Nomination. BTW, is anybody camping out for Reach on the 13th?

If you got a Classic Controller you can use that. Dual analog!
Although I've played a few shooters on the Wii and I really like pointer controls.

Update September 3rd, 2010: At the first club meeting it was brought up about purchasing certain games that come ot next year. buying games next year in spring is fine, altough please keep in mind that the games we select must be bought before spring ends. In which case a game that has a release date of TBA 2010 won't work. Becuase if we don't spend the money before spring ends it gets retracted by Student Government
